I stand at the station
in my damnation of escapists solution.

at the sink, in the mirror, vomiting in the bowl
from over eating
binge eating
to drop that final stone.
I'm saying too much
about myself,
I'll spare you the trouble
and just tell you
that I'm terrified of myself
in the steps of an untuned beat.
