I'm pretty sure that that nat geo bit was proven to be incorrect but anyway the topic and the data can be portrayed in many ways. I believe it depends on what you are looking for. Yes music has many effects on vision as well as the rest of our senses I have no argument with that fact. To write something off as a result of music of any type being used would be a bit rash I believe. When looking for facts, music will have little effect if you are aware.
Here is what i think personally, laugh don't laugh i don't care....NASA sends a ship to mars that is capable of landing on that planet and taking pictures that are transmitted back to earth and reassembled to form video. Yet the quality of most of it is so bad that nothing can really be seen. Great shots of the rover and the hole drilled in rock but anything of importance has to be cleaned up to be seen. This allows for most of what is found to be written off as "shopped". Well I don't by it, I do not believe it is all real but I do believe something is being hidden in the photography.
