What annoys me about the whole thing is the stuff he revealed isn't useful as public knowledge anyway. Do we really need to know that some low-level diplomat thinks secretary so-and-so is a bitch? It's good fodder for gossip and speculation, but did we really expect our governments to express personal feelings like that in public? Really?? It would be highly unprofessional. On the other hand, they couldn't ignore those considerations either, so they are forced to tread a line where some "unprofessional" information has to be kept behind closed doors. I'd prefer that rather all governments saying every single thing that's on their minds in a public arena and starting outrage/wars every five seconds.
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?
