let's assume that god is an entity. let's assume he created the commandments and us and all that goes with it.
it still doesn't make god religious. if he gave us free will, then that should be the end of it as far as i can see.
wanting adoration isn't the same as being religious. to all sense and purpose it looks like he doesn't give a toss about us.
who does he follow? who does he pray to? himself. he says that all who believe in him will enter heaven etc. if there is a god he must be very narcissistic.
I believe God is an energy force that put all of creation in motion and I'm not talking about the 7 days story. I believe He is a power that we are all able to tap into and the more we are willing the higher we ascend spiritually. I don't believe in a heaven or hell.

My thoughts are that all that we need is provided. We have to work / maintain / and look after all that has been given in order for our existence to continue.
We have from the beginning of time refused to abide by the laws and order of nature and through our arrogance we have made a mucky mess of things. Then many turn and blame God citing that he cares little for us. We're like spoiled children who have been given/provided every good thing and then blame our parents when life doesn't go as we think it should.
We are but a very small part of this planet but we have given ourselves a wrongful title to entitlement above all else. I don't believe his care extends to us more than an ant or leaf on a tree. His care is for all.
You give to the world when you're giving your best to somebody else.
