Yes women are treated worse than animals in some parts of the middles east. But not everyone who follows the Shariah is affected negatively.

So if you're bringing religion into the discussion just keep that in mind.

okay so even with religion being brought into it as s/dan points out. we still get the same mentality.

a woman get raped in some parts of india. she needs at least four witnesses (i think) to prove she was raped. if she hasn't got a witness and she says she was raped the case is thrown out of court and she's fucking stoned....and i don't mean they give her a joint either. can it get worse than that.
