I only recently discovered Sarah. i really enjoy this poem.

There Will Come Soft Rains By Sara Teasdale.

Not one would mind, neither bird nor tree,
If mankind perished utterly;

And Spring herself, when she woke at dawn
Would scarcely know that we were gone.

I gather that Sara herself wouldn't
have minded if we had all perished.



Quite a gothic girl ... inspired Ray Bradbury
to write a short story the same name as the poem.
