What I am saying is we can not stop it. It will happen anyway. If we speed it up or not is not the question. What the actual engine that drives the events that force people to cut down forrests and drive cars and cluster together by the millions in large cities concentrating levels of everything bad within their imediate line of site and then depending on the media and paid employe's of the top few for the rest of the truth is. I have watched this same debate run in fucking circles time and time again. Do i consciously make an effort to do my part to help, hell yes i do! Do i buy things that are sold on the pretext that they are green, not a fucking chance.
The big companies that put all that shit up in the air, you know the ones with the big smoke stacks and the gas companies that burn off all that gas, they are regulated in some parts of the world and are under emission caps. Did you know that all they have to do is to pay extra for Carbon credits and they can pump the fuck away to their evil fucking harts content and still call themselves green contributers?
And this while we all sit and say, oh look they are tring because the government say's they have complied, excuse me if i say get fucked.
Some of the people in the government actually own large shares in the god damn companies doing it. The evedence is there to be seen, plain as the nose on your face.
EDIT; By the way have you looked at a map lately? Canada is hardly a small place, I travel it alot, have done all my life.
anyway enough of that. you say we can't stop it. no we can't but we can make it more gradual. we can stop polluting rivers and oceans., the air etc.
we can do it and in doing so give ourselves some fresh air at least. these pollutants that you say don't affect you, maybe they don't but the largest populations don't live in canada, pretty soon they may. pretty soon when the pristine mountains and country are the only livable place f earth left people may flock there and fuck that place up as well. we're now officially a world of migrants. lookout canada cos they'll be there soon.
have a google about the lessening of the of salmon runs in canada and russia, because of the fact that many less return each year due to poisoning at sea. of other wildlife because climate change, how it affects the polar bear and penguin etc.
of course we can do something about it. we just don't want to,
that you know we contribute to it is something.
