Haiku (Dogwood flowers)

Dogwood flowers probably indicate season in America, and there's something of a volta---albeit it's ambiguous (probably intentionally) if the volta is between the first and second or the second and third lines---though at the moment it's still less a haiku and more an imagist imitation of the Japanese form, since the whole doesn't form an actual sentence, it's only fragments. All the best work by the masters of haiku can be read as one complete sentence, not just mere fragments, which is part of what makes them so masterful: that in their concision, they can achieve such fullness.
Thanks for the ongoing engagement, much appreciated.
Is it fair of me to point out that by far the #1 most famous haiku of all time is not as you describe, but rather, fragmentary?

ETA: uh, no it is not fair. I should walk before I run.
