Hi everyone! I've just arrived and am already finding a lot to interest me here. I've been writing poetry and short stories for several decades but until now they've gone no further than a few friends and piles of manilla folders (and latterly piles of electrons, which seems a little less durable), so getting to share with like minded folk is greatly appreciated. So nice to be here and I hope my contributions - such as they can be - will prove of interest (and even value).

And BTW my avatar is the Green Man - an ancient British forest god who got subsumed into the (originally Islamic) Green Knight Sir Gawain encountered some time in the 15th centuriy CE. But here he's in his original guise.

You are super welcome here and I can see you have dived right in already and have a fantastic outline.

I am a bit of a fan of Arthurian lore myself so I am a fan of the tale (though I did not recognize it immediatley)
