where are the poets writing to be read?

feels like we have more "I write for myself" poets here than the other kind. I don't really know how to crit those kinds of poems. by which I mean, I do, but you guys won't like it. :3

It’s okay to crit harshly as long as you’re addressing the poem and explaining yourself. This sucks or wow! has never been acceptable but you’re surely allowed to voice a sincere response. You gave me a harsh but polite one when you first joined, I remember laughing at how on the nose it was.

As to where to be read, my guess is journals and instagram or tiktok.Try searching Dodge Poetry Festival, it may lead you to groups of poets who want to be widely read. That’s all I got.
