Sometimes we have to realize that the world where we learned our skill wasn't ready for us; and then, just as suddenly, accept a world where what we're good at is no longer relevant, and simply give up and lose interest in a world where other people are doing things that we don't like. At the end of the day, statistics and the eternal certainty of science stand firm in the frontal cortex, if not the backbrain; and will show some lament, some poem or song or rap. There is always hope, as long as other people are the ones in the wrong.
