The Epic

Rivernotch, if you would like to write an epic, as you've already started, it may help to have a 'gym buddy', to keep up with it and reach the end, depending on the scope of your epic.  Sometimes im more motivated to make big projects if someone else is keeping up with me, maybe an epic writing challenge in milos forum where we set the parameters and log our progress. What say you? Maybe ill write the one piece epic to push myself through 900 more episodes

Pretty solid idea and blank verse is a solid format for a modern epic though I would recommend fixed strophe lengths with some understood rules around what a strophe should hold
