Best way to disappear a baseball bat zucchini: Grate it into those flat slivers, heat a little olive oil and garlic (on medium low - hot enough to cook but not brown), add massive amount of shredded zucchini, stir every now and then. Cook it until the water's gone and it's a jammy pesto-like consistency, way cooked down. Add a bit more olive oil and pasta and grated cheese, watch it disappear.

I tend to pick my zucchini when still small because I prefer the flavor but I will try that anyway.
So far, I have discovered a Zucchini chowder that is excellent and zucchini fritters as well as the usual suspects (zucchini parm, battered zucchini, zucchini on spaghetti)
Nice that his homneowner's is throwing in, I suppose but a mid-street brawl might be fun as well.
