Footnote *reet workyticket - North Tyneside slang meaning someone who is very mischievous.
For years I thought my accent just sounded odd for singing and then 'Sting' who comes from the same place as me, 'Wallsend' and went to the same bloody school as me brought out an album called 'The Last Ship' about Wallsend and he sings it in his native Geordie accent and slang and it sounds good to me. So if Sting can do it then why not.
