If I were to say that on the righthand, I'm van Helsing and John Constantine, on the lookout for devils and witches out there in the fields and city streets,
and on the left, I have a statue of Baphomet and perform witchcraft myself,
I would be positioning the righthand as the status quo.
And that is the status quo for the status quo which is the status quo.
Thus, Baphomet's appeal is that it is the shadow-side of the status quo while being the status quo and everything in between and beyond.
And so is everything. But that would be dull.
I've heard that joy is great pleasurable affect without reason or stimulus. That sounds like Heaven.
Heaven, like suicide and heroin, can be bliss. Can be dull to some.
