Good Evening

As a kid I wanted to write but nothing to write about or how to express myself. More likely afraid too. Few years ago I had ample time to find my courage and pick up a pen. 
  That eventually brought me here so I can learn as well as letting others into my mind a lil.
  Sorry most my poems are usually on the opposite spectrum of bright and happy. I tried to write happy go lucky. It turned out sounded fake or sloppy. 
  I just started again, still working on the flow.

hi. suuuuper in the same boat here. i try to write about different things and all the poems wind up coming back to the same thing (or most of them, at least) and it's a little exhausting. perhaps it just means we have a lot to say that our minds aren't satisfied with yet? but i digress. i'm new and its nice to meet everyone–been wanting to join a poetry forum for a while.
