All Is True
I must confess, I have been quite
distracted by a little game
of modded Minecraft, where my friends
are doing all the heavy lifting---
they're mining, crafting, and they're building
all of the whack machinery
the modpack brings into the world,
whether electric or occult---
while I, content with my stone tools
and, sure, a touch of magic flight,
have been erecting, out of wood,
what one might call a house of God:
an awkward clump of cupolas
behind a second-rate façade.
