I'm excited to see this community! I've been writing poetry off and on my whole life, but apart from instruction in English class, I don't have much formal knowledge of the subject. I grew up with Shel Silverstein, then graduated to Walt Whitman and Langston Hughes, though I would also love any poetry recommendations! Looking forward to working with you! My birthday is on June 28.
