Intrusion

Intrusion
 
I beg pardon for the intrusion
Yet intrude I must
For I am called to speak
 
My challenge … my difficulty
Is in stopping before I say too much
Before I ramble on
Losing the audience
 
Rarely do I say too little
Unless I have held my tongue
And said nothing
 
Silent I have been
Too often in my life
It is something I simply
Can no longer be
 
So intrude I do
Trusting the guidance I am given
Is once again proven true

I really love this poem. I need to take this advice.
