It’s too bad that you can’t make eyes more phallic somehow. I think that’s just what this poem needs, a blatantly phallic symbol.Maybe he could be crying into a nice long bottle, so he’s returning his salt to the father ship…and then maybe make a stab at connecting it all to toxic masculinity?
