Does a cop pray for
Innocent victims he shot 
or the things he's seen?

Maybe everything between.
I pray that family
finally connects us all.
At some point in time......

I find myself oddly twisting "for" on L1 into either "over" or "about," the actually innocent would not require prayers, one would think.

And, detail fanatic that I am, can't help wondering why "[i]nnocent" is capitalized on L2 contra sentence structure.  Are the Innocent generic or, perhaps, individually unknown?

Makes you think.
