< Blaue Blume > (blue flower)
that fucking blue flower
always a pain in the ass to find
sometimes it shrinks to a point so small you can't see it this is the one stanza that doesn't quite fit with the rest, but I still like it.
you have to feel for it
feel for its sharp point
it always cuts your fingers always, it cuts your fingers
and sometimes it blows up so big
you mistake it for the sky
the red ones and the yellow ones are easy I like these lines, not cause they are dramatic but they clear the path to the next
the purple ones are sometimes a bit harder I think makes the line too wishy-washy
(it depends on the season)
and hell, those white ones don't even bother to hide
you can even find them at night
(though sometimes they pretend to be the moon) mistaken for....or some variation of, eg 'I mistake them for', etc.
remember when we were flowers? A little turn here. humanizing, grounding before going back in.
when we found each other? how? doing something with colors here might be interesting. eg 'when we knew our colors', etc.
someday
(i keep telling myself) say to....a little rhyme action but might be too cheap for your aesthete.
i'll stop this
stop looking around corners
between lines
in cracks
under rocks
it's a pain in the ass to keep doing this could be implied
but
when it gets down to it I get
(in this world at least) could cut this, but...does add an element of here after dimension.
i've nothing else to do makes it a little more poignant, perhaps. or too desperate, you decide.

I've neglected to stop by and mention how much I enjoyed this piece. I like the idea of there being a codex of imagery we could use to convey more meaning. To make the less is more, more. I have been reading about haiku recently and how in the Japanese tradition there was/is an understood set of conventions to convey seasons, etc. I did make some suggestions above. You can't hide in miscellaneous! Hope you find them useful.
Take care,
bryn
PS There is a lot of weird formatting with your post that made it a little hard to interact with.
