Quix is an example of genuine artistic potential, because she has distinctive perspectives and angles of seeing; she feels what's present and also what's absent. Also, the heart is always there in her work -- it's not trying to be clever for the sake of being clever. She reminds us of how a poem doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
