@River - I’m honoured - in all seriousness - to be the recipient of such well thought out crit. Of late, you post less frequently, but when you do it’s quite a treat. Thank you for spending the time to go over this little poem.
I will resist the temptation to clarify what I meant by XYZ because the poem has to stand on its own.
On Theophilus. I had an interesting question pop into my head one day that I’ll discuss in a separate thread. As the biblical scholar here, it would no doubt be interesting to get your take on it.
