I'm also not quite satisfied with how the 'echo of laughter' is fitting in.

It's not the most felicitous phrase, granted. Maybe take a slightly different tack ...

Only serendipity of light,

shutter speed and aperture

could capture, so bright,

the eyes and the smiles;

could trick the ear

into hearing the laughter

within the spin and twirl

of a mother and daughter.
