there was a kat kalled Krazy
whose unkonditional love
was rekwited by brick after brick
from Kolin Kelly’s kiln
kast by Ignatz the Mouse.
Krazy was born in the brain
of a kuss named Herriman
a Louisiana Greek he klaimed
but aktually the great grandson
of a free woman of kolor.
Krazy is black, Ignatz is white.
It’s up to us to rekognize,
and then forget, exaktly
what those bricks konstrue.

Heh.  I was thinking of Krazy, too, but decided at the last minute on Calvin and Hobbes.  Which, in C's imagination, is almost as nutty.
