Brother, I command you
to open up the heart.
and forgive me for everything
I have done in our life.
 
Brother, I command you
to unfurl your heart
and forgive me for everything
I have done in the past.
 
Like all the scraping, stealing,
and cussing in the wake of hate.
I command you like Moses’ splitting water.
I’ll kneel to your sorrow.
