There are generations of people Generations of people
knocking on the door of today/ knocking on today's door,
We cannot stop them enter our world,
from entering our world/ we can not stop them.
The people of the future depend on us to be born/ The future depends on today
What we think about today determines the kind of people they become/ to determine the people they become.
We are no longer responsible just for ourselves/ We are no longer responsible for just us
But for the security of children who have not yet come/ but for the security of children yet to come.
I am new at this and not sure how to edit in this format so bear with me. Above I tried to give examples of how I might try to tighten it up some to try to give it more punch, I guess. I hope it helps. Good luck!
