Living’s an addiction
abusing a prescription

I got over long ago.

Now each day I get up
drink up coffee, one cup
breathe in air I cough on
eat what YouTube pushes.

Gotta have a next fix
money for a few kicks
looking for a new sun
scared of withdrawal, but

you know, I think I’ll just go
