There is no room,
the exceptional will run,
you will stay.

Watch them run,

future of today.

There is no room
for the limbless, or the dumb
in the race
to be the exceptional one.

In the bleachers 
we will stay,
tell our therapists 
nothing worth
listening to,

and watch them run
watch them run 
run their little lives away.

You and me can't
run that far.
We will never
ride our star.
We're the future of today
in the bleachers we will stay.

because, in life,
you have to melt down some mannequins
to make people.
