Stain

[Semicircle]

Little oil slick,
Bedazzled in rainbow bands,
Vibrating by the rumble 
of my engine.


Mid center;
a bloated worm,
gracefully pirouettes
on undulating ripples.


The oil seeps into the worm
by morning,
along with the colors–


I don’t think 
I would’ve mentioned the worm
without the colors.
