Hey Duke-
I can appreciate the analogy to golf, even though I don't play it. Sounds like somebody getting ready to make a game winning putt, but the sun is directly in the eyes, until a few clouds appear. Since I've been transfixed by the NFL playoffs lately, everything seems like a sports analogy.
I especially liked the ending:
the clouds no longer charmed
frisk away
whistling softly
searching for trees to scratch against.
Hard for me to hear clouds whistling, but that's ok; maybe it's just me gettin older and harder of hearing.
((What?))
