Buck, a bear of a dog,
spoke in animal language.

His paw on my hand said
his time was near.

Severely edited from the (much) longer version, simply because I said I would attempt chop "In What We Trust" down to 20 words. Then, of course, I had to edit the edit:
Two couplets, 10 words each; 6/4 - 6/4. Don't need to ask why I'm crazy...
