the red shirts were offered an out and never took it. it was withdrawn and now they;re paying the price. i commend their fight for an honest (if it's possible gov) but doubt their integrity. if they get the people who they want i'm pretty sure the country will still get raped up the ass.
a coup could be in the offing but i suspect that won't happen just yet.
the king in Thailand is treated as a god so it would probably take a nod from him to the generals that a coup is okay. i can foresee an extension of martial law to cover the whole of the city in a short space of time, if the present situation goes unchanged. jmo
