Interesting cut-up there. I haven't read much of Dylan Thomas, but I remember 'Fern Hill' from school. Is that masturbatory? It wasn't taught as such, but it might be, I suppose.
Once, in English class, the teacher took off his belt while reading a poem. We weren't sure what was going to happen, but it turned out he just needed to turn it round and refasten it. One of those weird moments.
