Confession to all: last line is a paraphrase of two lines from the film (and novel) Zama: "I'm going to do for you what no one ever did for me. I am going to say no to your hope." I guess there's an element of plagiarism here, but those words have become a constant part of my vocabulary. So I'm no fun at parties.
Also I was listening to the soundtrack to Swiss Army Man while writing it, so who knows what I stole from there as well
