Hi Thunder, thanks for reading and the comments. I will play with your ideas.  The fact that it was an Orwell book was an accident (it was his collected essays v. 1, cracked at "Bookshop Memories").  But I can see how I might work that to the advantage of the primary sentiment. 

I'm not sure what you mean by "the convenience of meta-programs is quintessentially "Orwellian"". Would you explain?
