I'm completely new to the forum environment, but I did scan the various Help pages before asking what I hope is not too dumb a question:

is it possible to uplad a PDF?

To explain, I'd like to share a "favorite" poem (by another author), but would need to do a PDF as it is not now in an digital format.

If you mean you'd need to scan it from print, many scanners will perform graphics-to-text conversion for you as part of their software.  Many e-books (obviously... grrr!) use this process, and it shows - you may have to correct the scanned text.

Alternatively, you can just type in the poem if it's not too long.
