Hello, thanks for having me. I'm not a poet, but I teach English as a second language. I was raised by emotionally-damaged hillbillies, so I'm guessing I'll fit in anyway.

Is your handle a reference to Roxy Music? If so, that's pretty fucking cool  I would say "we" welcome you to the forum, but apparently I'm not allowed to speak for other people. So I can only say I welcome you. Good luck. I hope you make it

Hello, Valerie, welcome! 

Thank you! Although my current gig is English, I spent most of my tenure promoting the Spanish language, and of course I have a love of peninsular and Latin literature. So the "Quix" in "Quixilated" is a delight.
