Where is the imagery? The metaphors?
Not much imagery, I'll give you that. But only not much...
Drums Along the Eastern River Ran
Twilight is My Chariot (also a metaphor within a metaphor)
And, speaking of metaphors. Every line in this poem is a metaphor. In fact, a specific and explicit metaphor (call it...). If it's mocking anything it's the protracted metaphors used in poetry.
