Rules: Write a poem for national poetry month on the topic or form described. Each poem should appear as a separate reply to this thread. The goal is to, at the end of the month, have written 30 poems for National Poetry Month. Anyone is allowed to contribute a poem at any time. If you have topic suggestions feel free to pm me ideas! 
Topic: Time travel.
Write a poem inspired by a different period in time. The topic, form, word choice, perspective, etc. should reflect a poem written in that time. You can travel as far back or as far forward in time as you like.
Form : whatever you deem most appropriate for your time period
Line requirements: again, whatever length is most suitable
