i like it though i see em as more of a bottom of heaven than a gray cloud of heaven

It was a round-ish cloud, no more than a couple of square miles in area, with bright sky around it; I could see the edge of its top.  The elephant-trunk was out of sight in the trees, though others got some pictures.  I was ready to run (no point in driving - the roads were jammed from radio warnings).

So, I calls 'em as I sees 'em.
