why?

Speaking for myself, I have a lot of hobbies, write a couple of poems a week on average, and few of them are presentable.  After mulling over them for a month or so, one of them may clean up to the point that I think the spark that caused it to be written is still there; then, sometimes, I'll submit it.

Crit is easier, though tougher where I'm not actually "getting" the poem.  And I can't make myself crit poems that aren't there   .
