The day at the end of the world


I chose the new adjustable head,
paid online with my almost
maxed-out card,
drank one last glass of wine before bed -
Australian merlot, Wolf Blass,
cheaper here than there, go figure.

Woke up, grey morning, TV on
jagged lines, white noise.
Adjusted my head.

Same-same.

these adjustments blur the lines between black-out and grey-out.
