People have bad days, bad hours, and the only slip you'd ever had could be your only public review.
Sometimes people flood the feed to disintegrate a rating, even if the poor review was completely false in the first place.
Good reviews can be just as misleading, a flood within a time frame is a good indication of special offers (discounts for good ratings).
Some reviewers are legitimately reviewing the wrong place.
