Welcome I think you can't post a new thread until your account has been verified or something like that, I found I was ok the day after I joined to inflict my words on the Poetry Nation.  Looking forward to reading your contributions

Is the welcome letter not going out? I believe it should go to your email and your PM box here. It explained that you don't become a full member with unlimited posting privileges until 3 critiques in the workshops are mod approved. Did you not get that?

6. For newly registered members; you must first leave acceptable feedback on other people's poems before you will be allowed to post your own poetry. All your posts will be moderated during this probation period. Once you are able to leave 3 pieces of acceptable feedback, in any of the following forums.

Basic Critique
Mild to Moderate Critique
Intensive Critique and Workshopping

you will be granted wider access to start your own threads and present your work in the the poetry forums for critique. After that, all members are expected to leave at least one new critique for someone else before starting a new workshop thread.

If possible, leave feedback in the forum you wish to get feedback from for your own poetry. though ideally, you could leave feedback everywhere.
