Hey all! My name is Ashley, and I've been writing on and off for a few years. My junior year of high school teacher called me the best student she'd ever had and we still somewhat keep in touch. I just started a youtube and I also have a hellopoetry, among other websites, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share the links xD My main passion is visual art and I actually went to art school for two years before I had to leave due to money, so anything creative is a huge passion of mine. I'm was juried into an art show and am showing my art in my city at a 200+ artist event in September, so I'm pretty excited about that! I'm going back to school in the fall to major in psychology and minor in art, and then once I'm finished in about two years, I hope to go onto grad school and become an art therapist. I want to join clubs like the poetry club, active minds, the social justice coalition, etc. I'm almost 28, so I'm an older returning non-traditional student, but I'm still really excited. That's sort of what I have going on at the moment I'm excited to see what people offer in the form of poetry and critique, to learn, and to share my own poetry. Thanks for reading!
