My body doesn't talk to me,
we fell out years ago.
My body wanted sugared tea,
but me, I said, oh no.
My body wanted cakes and sweets
and alcohol and dope
but me, I argued cut out meats
and no more wine...some hope.
So now we never say a word
we both go our own way...
things are getting quite absurd
but bigger every day.
For my niece, Kate...who's body talks to her.
