When I made "sun"/"son" it already felt exhausted, if not tacky, after "peals"/"peals" — "cast of dye" gives a similar sense, too.
Still in the dark on the "I" stutter. It reveals faltering & insecurity, yet its value isn't as high as desired.
However, I have one question to ask—if that's okay.
You both expressed that "nihilism" isn't subtle. I see why by its referencing a specific philosophical idea, but I would like to know what you each think it means in this context. Since "& guffaw" could either work as a command or an additive/continuation of the previous thought, would its meaning change in either context? (I guess that's two questions...)
I ask out of curiosity—I only want to know what a potential reaction could be.
