when i say depriving them of a fee, we're depriving them of a chance to make money off us.
if i do a song and don't put it up for sale and you copy it without my permission it's still piracy.
piracy is stealing a copy without permission for free. an example would be films that are downloaded before they going on sale. the movie houses have still charged people with stealing their product. a poem is also a product and if you share it without permission and people download it it is indeedy piracy.
an intent to sell is the same as not for sale.
